Dear all,
Here are some pictures of Sammy getting a haircut and a
bath. Manny is the barber we go to all the time. I do not
care much which barber I get, But Sammy has to have Manny. He has
much patience and does funny things like lets Sammy hold the
clippers and comb and touches his head with his fingers before putting
the clippers on him. Also, I let Sammy play with my electric
razor sometimes so he does not seem so afraid of it. They do give
him loly pops, which drives me crazy because they are basically a
device for cosmetically applying saliva-liquefied sugar to the face and
hands. But he likes them. Now our policy is to gratefully
accept the loly pop, wait till he is distracted, then throw them
away. Except when he is in the barber chair and then it is such a
mess that we just give up until it is over.
